These quiet natured, good framed cows are idea for those wanting small, extensively run herds, especially when there is an opening for local or private meat sales.
Heifers finished at 30 months here at Llanthony average 330kg with R4L classification. They are privately killed, hung for 3 weeks before butchering and sale in packs for home freezing.
Yearling Hereford steers are sold on for finishing for Waitrose.
Pedigree Hereford heifers are sold as bulling heifers.
In-calf cows may be available where calving dates fall outside our pattern.
